The Right Size Solution for the Right Size Community

Overview

Shores at Elders Pond came to HelloPackage looking for a practical, no-fuss solution to package management. They didn’t need the full bells and whistles; they needed something reliable that would take packages off their team’s plate without a major investment or a complicated rollout. HelloPackage Core was the right fit.

The Challenge

For communities under 250 units, package management often gets handled informally — staff logs deliveries manually, residents follow up by phone or email, and the whole process runs on habit rather than a real system. It works until it doesn’t. As delivery volume grows, those small inefficiencies start to compound, and the team feels it first.

The Solution

Shores at Elders Pond went live with HelloPackage Core on January 2, 2026. HelloPackage installed dumb shelves and there was no need to overhaul the space or invest in hardware upgrades. From day one, delivery driver management was automated, residents received real-time notifications when packages arrived, and HelloPackage’s live support team backed the operation, so onsite staff didn’t have to.

Controlled access from the outside. Only authorized delivery drivers and residents can enter the package room, keeping every delivery secure from the moment it arrives.

When a package arrives, residents receive a text notification. They can then head to their labeled shelf and pick it up at their convenience.

The Results

Three months in, the system is already running smoothly. The property has processed 2,314 deliveries since go-live, with volume climbing each month — from 695 in January to 861 in March 2026.

Resident satisfaction averaged 4.41 out of 5.0 across 174 responses, and support ticket volume dropped sharply from 23 in January to just 4 by March, a sign that residents and staff alike were getting more comfortable with the system as it settled in.
